From your SSD to your editors in minutes.
The fastest, cheapest and most reliable way to upload and share your footage. ~4× faster than Dropbox on the same internet, no seat fees for your crew, and every byte verified before we tell you to clear the card.

How it works
Get the shoot off the card. Share it the same day.
A Mac app that sends a whole shoot over every connection your internet can take, makes 1080p proxies so your team can watch in minutes, verifies every byte, and puts it all behind one private link.
01 · Watchable in minutes
Proxies first. The 4K follows.
Every clip gets a 1080p proxy rendered on your Mac's media engine (faster than real time) and uploaded before the originals. A 110 Mbps camera file becomes 8 Mbps, so producers are reviewing the shoot while the camera originals are still on their way.
02 · As fast as your line allows
Every connection your internet can take.
Files are cut into pieces and sent in parallel, with the number of connections tuned live to your connection. On our own line, UploadFilm pushed 23.6 Mbps while a Dropbox upload of the same shoot crawled at 5.6. The Upload speed tab shows which apps are eating your upload, and pauses them until you're done.
03 · Drop it anywhere
Point it at the SSD, the card or the folder. Walk away.
Drop a card, an SSD or a folder; folders stay folders. It reads straight from the source, keeps the Mac awake, and lives in your menu bar so a restart doesn't stop it. Pulled the cable? It picks up where it stopped.
04 · One link for everyone
Your producer opens a link. That's it.
No account needed
Anyone with the link can watch the proxies, browse folders and download originals. Private by default: nothing is public, every file URL is signed and expires.
Live while it uploads
The link works before the first byte lands. Clips appear as they arrive, with progress on every original still on its way.
Built for post
Real folders, camera, lens, codec and gamma on every clip, and download lists an editor can pull the whole shoot with in one command.
05 · If you lose footage, you're done
So we built it like a DIT would.
Uploading is easy. Knowing every byte arrived is the job. This is what happens to every file.
✓
Every piece checked on arrival
Each 16 MB piece carries a checksum the storage verifies; anything that changed in transit is rejected and resent. Bad bytes are never kept.
✓
Every file proven identical
When a file finishes, its fingerprint in the cloud must match the one computed from your disk. Only then is it marked verified.
✓
“Safe to clear the card”
We only say it when every original is verified, byte for byte. Until then, the app tells you not to format.
✓
Ejected card? Nothing lost
A file whose drive disappears waits instead of failing, and resumes the moment the card is back.
✓
We never touch your files
The app only reads. It never moves, renames or deletes anything on your drives.
✓
Nothing expires
Your footage stays until you delete it. No 7-day links that quietly take a shoot with them.
06 · For your agents
Your shoots, readable by Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and every agent.
UploadFilm has an MCP server. Give your agent a share link and it can list folders, find every S-Log3 clip from the B cam, check what's verified, and hand your editor direct download links.

Jorge, on set
Our story
Made by a filmmaker who got tired of waiting on Dropbox.
I'm Jorge. I shoot launch films for startups, and every shoot ended the same way: a card full of 4K, a progress bar, and an editor asking when they'd get the footage. UploadFilm is the tool I wanted on those nights.
